LPG policy

LPG policy was started in 1991 under the tutelage of Dr Manmohan Singh. The need for the new reforms was because of India's debt structure of the time. India was under the fixed exchange rate system and due to high import. Trade deficits widened so there was a balance of payment crisis. So India ran out of ts foreign currency and ultimately a huge debt was issued by IMF. In order to finance the debt, the currency system has to be changed from fixed to managed floating system. This bailout was provided on the condition that India will change some of it's existing law, and thus Narasimha Rao committee passed the LPG policy. It is interesting to look that the trade balance of India was worsening from the 85's only, but no step was taken by the then Congress government.

There are few poems which connect to your soul so well that you think of a divine linkage with them. It's like you two were made for each other like love. Love, which is not always about loving a human being, stands more than that, it always has, but our thinking and upbringing has changed its meaning. Now, it's time, for love break all the shackles of life and fly free into the open world. For love is something that transcends every bond that you can even think of. The poem Daffodils transcends the human mind into a pensive of thoughts. It infuses every human's heart with love, compassion, and paves the way for the emotional being to relive the past with gush of air which becomes the harbinger of fond memories in the form  of dancing "Daffodils."  This piece of poetry written by Wordsworth is one of the best you will ever read in the English literature, you don't have to put extra effort to connect it with yourself. Past the first stanza, you will f

The Coma part 2

In the very next second, he heard some faint voices and a bright light in his eyes. He felt excruciating pain in his head. He saw many green people standing next to him. This made no sense to him. He was alright, he knew that he saw stitch in his belly. He tried to move his hand. “Where am I?”, he asked As soon as he moved his hand, to find what was going on, the serenity of the place dissolved and everyone was moving and shouting. “How could he be awake” shouted one of the green guys. “I have no idea, Sir, he was given a very high dose of anesthetic.” “How about giving him some more and this is going on your report Doctor.” “Nurse, bring the syringe and the bottle of Atracurium, 10 mg should do this time. “This time he should not wake up.” “No, he won’t.” the doctor replied with more confidence. After the medication, he found his eyes heavy and he was again running, with no strength. He was making some strange sounds which were gibberish to many people. Some those scenes

The Coma part 1

The half-dead man was lying on the stretcher. With the help of constables and people around, he was brought down the building. People  had crammed the place, every inch of the stairs was taken up by the neighbours. Even at midnight it seemed that a night out was planned by all at the same time. Lying helplessly on the stretcher, he moved his hands over his body.  He knew something was wrong since he never felt anything like that. The pain was getting unbearable with every passing moment. With great strength and  great struggle,  he was finally able to move his right hand over his belly. What followed eventually gave him a shock. He could feel a broken piece of the bottle was in his stomach.  His white shirt was stained in blood by now. Which gave an impression that the shirt was never white at all. Blood as oozing, he had no idea what he should do. Amidst everything, he was laid near the ambulance, which has reached by then. “Kya abhi bhi saans chal rahi hai”? Asked the doctor.

Murder, Mayhem part 3

Within  the next few minutes with the car moving on the narrow roads and the siren on they reached the crime scene. It was crowded, people were surrounding the house as some rock concert was going on. They were not ready to move at any cost. Kadam had a lot of difficulty in managing the crowd and entering the scene with Pandey ji and few other constables following his lead. He raced for the stairs and saw a man standing there. He asked, “ how many people are inside, any idea?” “No Sir! Maybe two of them!” said the man Kadam turned towards Pandey and said “ Pandey ji inko niche le jaiye aur control room se contact kar ambulance bulwa lijye aur han forensics wale bhi, aaj lagta hai inki jarurat pade ” “Thick hai Saab” replied Pandey. Kadam took out his gun in one and a torch light in the other. The gate was locked from inside. So he asked one of the constables to break it open. Once he got into the room, he turned the torchlight in the room. He stepped on few
