The Coma
Somewhere between life and death there lies a place where nothing is wrong or right, everything is sensible and nonsensical at the same time. This work contrasts between what our life is now and what happens to it when we are in the coma.
The Coma
Between the life and death,
There lies a place,
Where no one wants to go,
But, I will be the one venture,
Like an expedition of knowing self,
Whom you have not known in your whole life,
Do not fear what they say
When you lie, in a coma.
You may not recall who you are,
You can be a no one,
You can live your life there, but alas, you can’t.
How is it like being there?
Where there is no truth or lie,
Maybe not hope, only you.
Where there is no life or death,
Where there are only you with hope,
What is right and wrong,
Where with your consciousness,
And reasoning won’t help you decide,
But you can decide there,
Don’t fear when you look at some ugly creäture,
No! You can’t and never will be,
Because it’s not your world, but mine.
For the choices made have led you to this point,
Where now you lay on a bed in a coma,
Is it bad lying like that,
People looking at you as you are dead,
Are you? You feel alive.
You love being there
Those who are buried
It has your loved ones,
Those who can’t come out of
Deep within your heart, thoughts.
You are in a coma now.
They may cause too much pain
But it is okay, not anymore,
For it is coma
There is no reality here,
Just a pause in life.
I will come and get you.
So don’t die there,
I may be far away, but, one day,
As you are not going back,
When I find you, you would regret
Why did you leave?
The comma, life in silence.
To your place, where you belong,
